When you think perfect pairings what comes to mind? Bubbles and Fried Chicken? Indian dishes and Riesling? Sushi and Sake? How about Muscadet and Oysters! (yup, I’m still drinking white wine). You may be automatically thinking Moscato, a sweet sparkling or still Italian wine. But Muscadet from France is a dry, mineral, lime-y wine made with Melon de Bourgogne grapes. The perfect partner for briny oysters! Ohhh so tasty!

I enjoyed this delicious pairing at The Dabney Cellar, a small bar in Shaw DC. If you go, please also try the ricotta, tomato toast while it’s still on the menu. It’s screams SUMMER!!! Ask for Liz, a fun and sassy server.
