What a delicious example of Rosé from Three Sticks Wines. Bright. Juicy. Strawberries. Made with Syrah, Grenache and three different white grapes (Viognier, Grenache Blanc and Marsanne). The pictures do not do the label justice and I love the bottle shape. Maybe I’ll keep it for flowers.

On a serious note, in 2017 the fires in Napa and Sonoma were devastating. Some people lost their homes, their lives and some wineries were lost. Three Sticks decided that the 2017 vintage was “dedicated to the heroes who saved our little slice of heaven we call home and in memory of those who were lost.” Sonoma at its finest.

Napa and Sonoma want folks to know they are open for business. From personal experience, I can say a visit to Three Sticks’ Vallejo-Casteñada Adobe is a great place to not only do a wine tasting/food pairing but to learn a little bit of Sonoma history.
