How did I forget to post the fabulous meal from San Lorenzo?!? Shame on me. The refreshing Aperol Spritz, the tender and moist Branzino with potato, tomato and olives and the TRUFFLE Parmesan Corn. Ya’ll truffle and cheese in the corn (OmG!!). I wasn’t sure if I was going to be brave enough to taste the Ragu Rabbit pasta but I had to. The pasta was so fresh, the rabbit perfect. Yup totally worth it.

San Lorenzo received a lot of social media buzz before it opened in the Shaw community (they took over Thally). Chef/Owner Massimo Fabbri named his restaurant after his son — “who in turn is named for San (or Saint) Lorenzo, the patron saint of chefs.” That’s pretty cool!

This restaurant definitely deserves a second visit. I need more truffle corn. Sit at the bar for faster seating. The bartenders are very attentive.
