A Champagne tasting with St Anselm Beverage Director, Vanessa Cominsky & Wine Writer, Educator and founder of Black Wine Professionals, Julia Coney.

I picked up my bubbles and some snacks from St Anselm the day of the tasting. To be honest, I wasn’t sure how the bubbles were going to transfer from the restaurant to my home. Although the containers were a great idea (easy to transport), I wondered if I would still have bubbles once I opened them. Well Vanessa was smart enough to add a little argon to each container. So yup, I still had perfect bubbles!

I loved listening to Vanessa and Julia discuss each Champagne. They are both incredibly passionate about wine education and each brought a fun component to it as well. No stuffiness here! What a great way to sip and learn.
