This will be my first time trying Bodkin Wines. Bodkin was founded in 2011 by Winemaker Chris Christensen (with that name you must do something cool, right?). This winery may be small but it’s mighty! Chris is the creator of the FIRST American Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc. Now ain’t that America! I am super excited to try these Bubbles! Heck, I’m excited to try all of his wines (he also makes a canned wine for Maker). Check out his website for a description of his cool labels.
The Sparkling Rosé seems like an easy sipper while watching TV sans food. But for a simple pairing, how about chicken sausage and tater tots straight from the Air Fryer. Yesss, for this non-cook that sounds super easy and yummy. Stay tuned for that.
Okay now I’m thinking of adding a little chill to the Zinfandel than pairing it with a juicy burger straight off the grill. Of course, I will have to talk my friend into grilling. Ha! That sounds like a good time. Aww, I miss friends. Don’t you?
