What a fabulous tasting at Domaine Storage DC (thanks @atastyjourney). We had the pleasure to listen to Benjamin Leroux discuss his delicious wines. He knew at age 13 that he wanted to be in the wine industry. I don’t know what you were doing at 13 but that’s serious wine love! Wine seems to have been a consistent companion all over the world for him. We all could use a friend like that (lol).
My favorites were the Gevery-Chambertin and Savigny-lès-Beaune. I even enjoyed the Saint Romain (you know how I feel about white wine but it smelled as delicious as it tasted!).
For now, his wines are at a wonderful price point (especially the 1st Cru and Premier Cru). My suggestion, buy some before the prices go up!!
