When you haven’t seen your friends in a really long time. Why not meet up for a Friday Happy Hour! Even if it’s only two hours. We decided to meet up at Vinoteca in DC. They have an awesome happy hour that includes $5 bubbles from the Loire Valley and other interesting $5 wine (like a Greek red blend). If you zoom in on the first pic, you’ll see a zillion corks in the window. That means you’re off to a great start!
The happy hour food isn’t cheap but it’s delicious. We decided to go with the cheese board, charcuterie board and wings (crispy & delicious with gorgonzola milk dressing). Ya’ll full disclosure, we had to order another plate of wings. Yeah, they’re that good.
We ended the night with an Old Overholt Manhattan. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Ask for the adorable Luca – and no, he doesn’t live on the 2nd floor (we asked!!).
