Sometimes you need something crunchy & delicious and totally not healthy. I found that in my Roaming Rooster wing order. Great crunch with a little heat — I tried medium heat; not too bad. I think as I’ve gotten older, my heat tolerance has changed. I can’t do super spicy foods or I will feel it the next day. This is where I am now. Ugh.
I washed my wings down with a glass of Albert Bichot’s Crèmant de Bourgogne (purchased during a Costco run). Crèmant is a great alternative to Champagne. It’s made in the same traditional method as Champagne but without the price of Champagne! Nice small bubbles, citrus and yeasty notes. Definitely a winner!
Ohh, I can imagine some fluffy scrambled eggs sprinkled with chives, flaky buttermilk biscuits and a few glasses of Crèmant. Yes. This sounds like a great idea for a “breakfast for dinner” situation.
