Last night showed me what happens when you bring together rap and wine. You get the hella approachable brand “True Wine Connoisseurs” from Rap Legend Sadat X (yes, from the 90’s rap group Brand Nubian!) and producer Will “Tell” Davis. The fun and energetic duo discussed their wines at Free State Bar in DC.

The three wines available for tasting were a bright and nutty white wine made from Garganega (Bella Bianco), a refreshing rosé made from Pinot Nero (Cool Breeze Rosé) and a fruit forward red made from Corvina (Abungaza). Quirky wine labels aside, I think all wine drinkers would enjoy these wines. Definitely a conversation starter at parties!
